The Committee on Science and Education recommends that the Parliament adopts in its Entirety the Draft Resolution on Declaration of a Moratorium on Closure of Secondary Educational Establishments in Rural Area

The Draft Resolution (Reg. No.2227) imposes a moratorium on closure of secondary educational establishments in rural area, until the Law "On the State Budget for Year 2009" is adopted.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to commission local executive and local self-government bodies to analyze the situation concerning functioning of secondary educational establishments in rural area, taking into account predicted demographic changes.
